i want to know d scope of biotech in india,,,

Pharmacy is the booming industry all over the world......
& u should concentrate on that ,......
as far as biotech is concerned it stiil need some more years to get going .....

Well its all depends on your choice. If you really want to go with Bio-Technology, you can apply to the Universities/ Colleges for this and as you said that you are a pharmacist, then this course would be easier to you.

Well doing any of the course is your choice or interst. Both the courses have lots of scope. In biotechnology you have various options and fields including pharmacy. While in pharmacy you are restricted to only pharmaceuticals only. however if you concentrate to pharmacy you can choose any of the two, both subjects have vast scope in india.

the biotechnology course is the hottest course in India,it surely has a great future

Biotechnology is among the top 10 hottest careers in India.

Its scope in promissing specialy in pharmaceutical industries.

Dont worry go for it.it will be better for you to opt for bachelor in RED biotechnology or WHITE.

After persuing that courses you will find lots of career oppertunities waiting for you.

Scope of Pharmacist and Biotechnology in India is very broad, after completing this course there are various opportunity for job in this field. so dont worry.

hi as iam also pharmacist..... biotechnology is having scppe but more in western countries if you have interest to go abroad u have to do ph.d because our indian course is not valuable much there.........based on the sub pharmacist have the scope in industries sales ,executives,regularatory affairs ,drug inspector,r and d....as lecturer

dear friend , Biotechnology and pharmacy was a buzz word that started going round a few years ago. I know a few people who got into it, who now work in IT. its a research field. IF you are terribly good at it you can work in the field.............................

i would advise you to go abroad after you complete your course on biotech

indeed it has a great scope in the future.biotec has good scope in near future. the demand is going 2 rise 3 folds in another 5 yrs. even foreign countries are inviting biotechnology engineers from india 2 work for them.Current Trends in Biotechnology and Pharmacy is an international quarterly research journal dedicated to pharmaceutical and biotechnology research. The journal is published by the Association of Biotechnology and Pharmacy.

Ofcourse there is a lot of scope no doubt. In one magazine Biotechnology is named in the league of Engineeing,Medical,Law since its an emerging field.

By the time you pass out you can surely expect an awesome job with aweosome salary.

Frankly speaking my sister also doing biotechnology and she recently got placed in Ranbaxy with an awesome salary. She coudnt get into Medical so Biotech was here only choice and she liked that field too

So interest also matters!!!

Biotechnology is progressing slowly but surely in india.After M.Sc. one can opt for PhD in this field.after PhD there are more opportunities,much better in abroad like Japan,America,China Korea(south & north),as a junior scientist & as a senior scientist after promotion.
