CAT Eligibility Criteria:-

• You need a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university of your choice.
• You need not less than 50% of marks at graduation level.
• Final year candidates can also give this examination.
• This exam can be given as many times you want and age criteria is not a factor for this exam.

Overview of the exam:-

1. Total no. of questions: 100
2. Marking Scheme Correct Answer: +3 Points
3. Sections: 2
4. Number of choices: 4
5. Negative Marking Wrong Answer: -1

Sections:-

• Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning- 50- 170 Minutes
• Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation- 50- 170 Minutes

Please Note: If you can secure 75 – 85 questions with 70%+ accuracy you can expect calls from a few of the IIMs. The top colleges apart from CAT scores also gives importance to the overall academic performance of the candidate, extra-curricular activities and work experience.
