Hi friends,
I'm pursuing my Diploma in Computer Science 6th semester in Karnataka and i'm 18 yrs old. And i'm in a mess whether i should apply for job or continue my education for BE degree!! My parents' opinion is that i should have a degree in my life and all are forcing me to do BE. But I'm thinking of doing any individual computer course after diploma and apply for job in any company, as i'm not interested in doing BE and also we are facing financial problems. So my question is,
1) Is it really necessary to do BE after my diploma???
2) what will be the difference if i join any job after diploma by doing any individual course and what if i join any job after BE?
Please help me solve this. i'm an a very big dilemma and i really need your help please help me friends..

Well brother sorry to hear about your financial turmoil... but you have to go for B.Tech.
A Diploma will not earn you even peanuts to say,sorry for being harsh ... and there will not be any scope for future development or progress.... you see many B.Tech and M.Tech people remain unemployed and those who get jobs have a hard time finding it,... except for lucky ones who get campus placements.. Now ask this question yourself.
Its really nice to see your parents support for you... you are just 18, study hard and get into some good college make getting a good job your obsession and work towards it keep enquiring... And about finances, if you family could keep them afloat for so long they will manage for a little longer ... for then you'll be able to do so much more for them..
Target MBA in future/M.tech. after some work experience post your B.tech

The easiest way to get a job in a well reputed company with high salary is only by being highly qualified.If you can get good jobs than you can go for it or else you can work for few years after your diploma and than you can go for your degree.Its better if you can study further as it will be easy for you to get a good job.Once you finish your B.E you can go for Masters where you can try for scholarships like GATE etc.There is a saying also "When the going get tough the tough gets going".Don't lose hope.You can do it.All you need is to have faith on yourself and dedication towards it."Where there is a wheel there is a way".

All answer keys are inside you, ask yourself at this stage what exactly you want, go for higher studies or a job.

And another thing is that your parents are quite right in their points, that you should complete your degree.

Because these days there is no value of a CV without a graduation degree at least.

Graduation has become the least qualification dear. So you should go for B.E after your diploma.

I can understand your financial condition, but in this competitive world, you must make your career strong as far as you can.

It will be better to join job after doing B.E.

You should go for B.E degree and continue your education.After doing any individual course in computer you will not get a good job in any reputed company.You can work somewhere side by side your studies.
You will surely get a good job if you further do degree otherwise you will end up doing pathetic job and it will not solve your financial problems.

After Diploma, first you join B.E. or B.Tech. courses and after completing your degree you will apply for job.

Both the option are open for you as you told that you are not interested to do B.E and your financial condition are not too good so just try to find a good job and in the mean time enroll with the DOEAC society for doing B.E through distance,why because on the basis of diploma you need not able to find a lucrative job with handsome salary.Now a days most of the company wants at list a graduate Engineer.
As you told that your parents want to do a Degree so go with your parents advice and that will be better option for you for Better Future.

MAI DIPLOMA KAR RHE HU BUT I HAVE SUPPLIES I AM IN LAST SEM.INEED A JOB TO KYA MUJAI JOB MIL JAIGE PLEASE REPLY.

Well after diploma there are also campus placement , which when you go in BE dn't get . I mean if a good job , with average salary and in a good company comes walking towards you then what to do. what if the same does't happen after BE
