I hv just completed 3rd yr in B.tech(CSE)...and i m confused whether to go for MBA or M.Tech?..I m interested in lectureship...please suggest..what is the scope in both ?

I will about two of them below. you decide yourself what to decide.

M.Tech is the good idea because you are interested in lectureship. you can join any engineering college and you can start your lectureship in college. the salary will be somewhat in the range of 40,000 to 50,000.


whereas M.B.A is also good idea for lectureship. but you have to manage administration by speaking and taking right decision in right time. you should have the management capacity with lectureship. the salary will be in the range of same 40,000 to 50,000.


the important thing is you can be promoted in M.B.A field in company and your salary will be raised in short time. but in college you cannot improve your salary in short time.


so, you decide your choice.

As you are interested in teaching, you can try for M.Tech. M.Tech degree is quite suitable to work as lecturer in engineering colleges. MBA degree holders can try for managerial positions in PSU, government departments, banks, and so on. Such candidates can try for Specialist Officer profile in bank. MBA holders with NET qualification can work as Asst Professor in governmant colleges.
