Re: Which students are eligible for Bank PO Exams?
The minimum qualification for appearing in various bank exams is a pass in 12th class examination in any stream from a recognised board.
Some banks demand minimum 50% and some demand minimum 60% in 10+2. Generally students of commerce, maths and arts stream sit in bank exams. Also the age limit is different for different banks. These qualifications are for the post of clerk. For higher posts like P.O. graduation with minimum 50% is must. But there are also some small banks that do not require graduation for P.O. In addition candidates holding some certified course in computer are preferred. |

Re: Which students are eligible for Bank PO Exams?
There is not any particular group of students who can only apply for bank Exams.
Anyone who is interested in banking jobs can apply for it. After completing 12th examination, one is eligible for clerical posts in banks. While after completing graduation in any field, one is eligible for Probationary Officers(PO) posts in bank. But also keep in mind some other criterion like: For Clerk, minimum 60% in 12th. For PO, minimum 55% in graduation. For Clerk, your age should be within 18 years and 28 years and for PO your age should be within 21 years and 30 years. But there is no such criteria where it is written about any particular type of students....any students who fulfill the bank's criteria can apply for the exams, even you can apply if you fulfill the qualification criteria. So all the best......... |
