Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO Exams at an age of 32?
dear friend,
As you have mentioned that you are 32 years old, then sorry to say you that you are not eligible for Bank PO exam.. except if you are from SC/ST or OBC category.. If you are from SC/ST category then the age relaxation is of 5years.. And for OBC category the age criteria is of 3years.. To apply for bank PO exam also you have to fulfill other criteria lie- 1.you must have complete the graduation in any discipline.. 2.You should have 60% aggregate throughout the career.. 3.You should have the citizenship of India.. 4.You must be computer literate.. So, you have to fulfill all these criteria beside the age criteria.. If you are from general category then you are not eligible.. All the best.. |

Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO Exams at an age of 32?
If you plan to appear for the private sector banks then certainly you will not be eligible. The maximum age limit for the same is 25 years. For the public sector banks the maximum age limit is 30 years. But they give a relaxation of 5-10 years for those who belong to SC, ST, physically challenged candidates etc. So if you donot belong to the same you will not eligible for the bank test.

Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO Exams at an age of 32?
Sorry to say but unfortunately you are not eligible for the exam. You did a little late to
go into the bank field .Almost all bank have same eligibility criteria . Eligibility for bank exams Must have passed class 12th and graduation with a 60% marks . Your age should not be less then 21 years and more then 30 years .For reserved caste students there are some relaxation given. But since you are general category students and have age more then 30 years .so it mean that you are not eligible for the exam. After graduation you are eligible for bank PO exam. so your age is 32 ,if you are sc/st candidate then you are eligible for bank po exam. |

You are eligible only if you belong to OBC or SC/ST. Because the age limit for General candidates is 30 years. If you belong to general category then unfortunately you can not appear for Bank PO or any other banking exam by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services.
IBPS Bank PO is a annual exam conducted in the June/July by the IBPS. If you belong to the reserve category then please wait for the official notification by the IBPS. You can access it online on www.ibps.in. It will also be published in leading newspapers of the country. You then need to follow the steps mentioned in the notification and apply for the exam within the period given for registration. Please remember that if you belong to reserve category, you will have to submit a certificate as a proof. Eligibility 1. Only Indian nationals can apply. Age Criteria 1. General - 20 to 30 years. 2. OBC - 20 to 33 years. 3. SC/ST - 20 to 35 years. 4. Person with Disability - 20 to 40 years. Qualification 1. A graduation degree in any stream. Re: Am I eligible for Bank PO Exams at an age of 32?
Hello Friend,
First of all , i would like to ask you that to which category you belong to. This is because the Age Limit for Students belonging to various categories differ from each other for both Banking Clerical as well as Banking PO Examinations. Age Limit For Banking Clerical Exams : a) General Category : 18-28 years b) OBC Category : 18-31 years c) SC/ST Category : 18-33 years Age Limit For Banking PO Exams : a) General Category : 21-30 years b) OBC Category : 21-33 years c) SC/ST Category : 21-35 years So , if you belong to General Category then you are not eligible for Bank PO Exams whereas if you belong to any of the Reserved Categories then you are eligible for the same. Hope the above mentioned will provide you the information you were searching for. |
