Respected Sir, I have completed my post graduation with M.Sc Maths, now I want to write NET exam. So I want to know which subject should I choose for appearing in NET exam being a M.Sc Maths holder? Please answer as soon as possible.

After completion of post graduation in maths you can apply for CSIR NET in mathematical science subject. In UGC NET exam you are eligible for population studies subject. If you have got 55% or above marks in your post graduation then you can apply for both these subjects. Thanks

Mathematics is not included part of UGC NET exam but you can apply for CSIR NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed BS-4 years program/BE/B. Tech/B. Pharma/MBBS/Integrated BS-MS/M.Sc. or Equivalent degree with at least 55% marks are eligible for CSIR NET exam.

Your age should be below 28 years.

M.sc Mathematics students are eligible for NET Exam.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidate should be citizen of India.

Candidate should complete Master degree in Humanities with selected subject or language, social science, engineering science and application etc.

Candidate secure min 55% of marks in Masth degree. SC/St candidates min 50% of marks.

Age limit:

JRF candidates max age limit is 28 years.

For Lectureship no age limit.

So you can eligible for NET Exam.

As you have completed your masters in mathematics, you are only able to appear the NET exam in mathematics only. However the state conducts separate NET exam . You have to check the required minimum percentage of marks to be eligible to take the NET. BEST OF LUCK.

As being a post-graduate in commerce (2016), and i already appeared in NET before but now i want to go with economics or is there any other subject which i can choose? Kindly assist me with this.
