The syllabus of AFCAT exam is basically is of secondary school examination. The entrance test will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on

Hey,
Pl see below :- The AFCAT is carried out every year and is controlled by the IAF. In 2011 the exam is held on March 27 in designated test centers. The AFCAT is a 2 hour long exam which will have objective type question. --Each of these objective questions will be provided with 4 options as answers. The candidate must select the correct one from the given option. The Syllabus of AFCAT exam will test students in the areas like Reasoning, Numerical and verbal ability. Other than these students will also be tested in General awareness and Knowledge. The number of question will be 100 or more. For preparing for the AFCAT candidates must prepare by solving previous years question papers and also must refer to books and guides indented for this exam. Students can also refer to other competitive exams like Bank PO, LIC, NICL etc. Best of luck! |

AFCAT 2011 would be of 2 hours with multiple choice of questions, and the sections are: 1. Reasoning 2. Numerical ability 3. Verbal ability (English) 4. General Awareness, GK 5. General Aptitude The number of questions would be around 100 or may be more. |

The syllabus of AFCAT is like other competitive exams...
all multiple choice questions of 100 marks or more... time given will be two hours. to prepare for AFCAT, you can follow any competitive exam books like BANK PO books, MBA entrance books, LIC exam books, etc.... you can also buy books for AFCAT preparation.... but the above books are enough to pass the AFCAT. the questions are same. |

syllabus for AFCAT
1-menatal ability 2-reasioning 3-genral awareness 4-current affairs 5-maths (10 th level) 6-verbal ability the total test time is 2 hours.questions are objective type. for this you have to need more and more practice of reasioning and reading of newspaper daily.(the hindu). |

hi i will tell what all areas you have to cover to crack this exam i hope this will be helpful to you
1.genarak awareness 2.verbal ability 3.mental ability 4.current affairs 5.maths till 10 class level and as per the tips i would say try to solve previous questions and make sure that you read newspaper everyday and if possible try to solve some apptitude exam papers all the best work hard |

Syllabus of AFCAT:- Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2011 Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) Exam Syllabus & Scheme. The scheme of syllabus and examples of questions are given in the following paragraphs:- Scheme Of Syllabus: 1. The AFCAT Question Paper will have 100 questions. All questions will be of three marks each. For every correct answer the candidate will get three marks and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted under negative marking. The total time allotted for the paper is two hours. 2. Each Question Paper will have questions from the following topics:- (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest.
