Dear friend,

You have to prepare all your engineering subjects...
First you have to be strong on the basics... Then prepare like gate exam. It will be enough for all the competative exams....

are btech student from information technology stream eligible for Station Controller/ Train Operator?

The Exam of AAI is conducted by AIRPORT AUTHORITY OF INDIA and is conducted for the recruitment of candidates for the airport authority work.

The selection is conducted in three stages.

1)Written test

50% questions on subjects relating to educational qualifications prescribed
50% on General Knowledge, General Intelligence, General Aptitude, English etc.
2)Personal Interview
3)Medical fitness as per ICAO Annex-1.

The written test comprises of four parts.

1.General English
2.General Knowledge
3.Mental Ability
4.Elective paper from the concerned Engineering branch.

Eligible applicants may apply online only through AAI website http://www.aai.aero. The complete link will be http://www.aai.aero -> AAI Careers -> AAI Online Recruitment.

The AAI written Question paper consists of two sections:
1. Non Technical
2. Technical

TECHNICAL PAPERS CONSISTS OF:

Electronics
Communication
Microwave
Digital electronics
control system
computer
information technology

Non technical questions contains 40% to 40 % questions

• General knowledge
• English language
• Reasoning
• General mathematics

see, Airport Authority of India for post Jr. Executive (Electronics) exam syllabus for engineer trainee syllabus is equivalent to gate syllabus.
so it will be better to take gate syllabus as a Airport Authority of India for post Jr. Executive (Electronics) exam syllabus for engineer trainee.
you can get Gate syllabus & previousyear question papers in the given below sites

I want to know whether the paper for electronics guy and IT or CSE guy are same or not.
I mean for IT guys will it be enough if we prepare for IT sylabus because the sylabus of IT and electronics are totally different.
