i am a student of btech 2nd year from ECE branch. I want to know about the syllabus of psu and gate. I also want to know how can i prepare for that and what are the branches of psu .

Dear friend,

By PSU exam you get the job in public sector union companys like BHEL,HAL,NTPC and many more.Their syllabus are totally different they check from you your techanical knowledge,General awareness question,Aptitude problems.

Whereas in Gate exam they ask objective type problem regarding the syllabus of engineering(Trade which you are choosen),it's totally depend on your techanical knowledge whatever you learn in you engineering life from 1st year to final year.

friend the gate and psu have the same syllabus and consists of 10 subjects viz. digital electronics,anslog electronics,communication engg.,semiconductors,networks,control s/m,signals s/m,electromagnetics,engg. maths and apti.for prep. both require conceptual clarity hence first understand concepts and then do problem solving. also there is no branches in psu u will have to apply for all psu from electronics branch.

i have just stepped into btech final year of EEE bracnch.is iam eligible to write psu exams???what is the future in this psu??
