No, there is no relaxation education wise and ex –servicemen candidate needs to be graduate. Banks conduct its Probationary Officer (POs) exam annually. Candidates should be citizen of India and should not below 21 years and not above 30 years. Age relaxation is provided to OBC as in 3 and 5 years in the case of SC/ST candidates, Ex-servicemen and those domiciled in Kashmir Division of the State of Jammu and Kashmir between 1980 and 1989. Candidate should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised University.
Recruitment exam is conducted every year. Forms are available online for 15 days. The test comprise of objective tests and descriptive test. The objective test is for two hours and comprise of four segments of 50 marks each. It covers the English Language including grammar, vocabulary, comprehension , General Awareness, Marketing and Computers, Data Analysis and Interpretation and Reasoning. In the descriptive test comprise of 50 marks check out comprehension, short précis, letter writing and essay in English. The group discussion and interview is in the phase II comprise of 20 and 30 marks respectively. |
