Bank Jobs are in hot demand these days. The number of candidates who are applying for Bank jobs are going on increasing.

Here is the common procedure to apply for all the Bank jobs.

You have to be patient enough till the notification is released by a particular bank.

Once the notification is released, everything will be clearly mentioned in notification like
-the number of positions for which the notification is made
-required eligibility criteria
-procedure to apply
-last date to apply
-instructions etc.

The entry level positions in various banks are
-Clerical positions
-Probationary officers

The selection procedure for both these positions is by
-Written Exam
-Interview

For many of the bank exams, you can apply for only in online.

But, you have the choice of making the fee payment either by online or by offline.

You need to upload your passport size photograph and signature scanned copies.

Once you apply for the exam in online, you will be given registration id and password.

you can these details for to edit any of the details which you have already given.

A 2 weeks before to the exam, the hall ticket for the exam will be sent to you by mail.

Have good preparation for Bank Exams and crack it.

For a job in most banks you will have to clear the entrance test, interview round conducted by the bank or any authorized body. The State Bank group conducts its own test. But for 19 other nationalised banks IBPS is authorized to conduct the test on its behalf. The syllabus for these exams is similar so prepare for them together. Pay protection was introduced to avoid disparity in the salaries amongst employees.

If you want job in SBI or any other Public Sector Bank then you will have to appear for the written test. The job in Public Sector Banks is given through the entrance exam.

You have two options. Either apply for the entrance exam by State Bank of India or you can appear for the entrance exam by Institute of Banking Personnel Services which is accepted by 19 Public Sector Banks.

Now its up to you to decide whether to appear for the SBI Entrance exam or the IBPS entrance exam. There are two entrance exams from both side:

Bank Clerk

Bank PO

Exam for these posts are conducted by both State Bank of India and Institute of Banking Personnel Services. The requirement to appear for these exams is graduation degree.

For IBPS exams a graduation degree is sufficient enough to appear for the exam. However in the State Bank of India exams you are required to meet minimum percentage for both the exams to be eligible.

If you have completed graduation then in my opinion you should apply for the Bank PO exam of either SBI or IBPS.

SBI Bank PO Eligibility

1. A graduationd degree is needed.

2. Minimum of 65 percent marks in graduation.

3. SC/ST need 60 percent marks or more.

4. The age limit is 21 to 30 years.

5. A 3 years relaxation for OBC.

6. Up to 5 years for SC/ST.

IBPS Bank PO Eligibility

1. Nationality: Only Indians are allowed.

2. Qualification: BA, B.Com, B.Sc or any other graduation degree.

3. Percentage: No criteria.

4. Age Limit (lower): You should be at least 21 years old.

5. Age Limit (upper): No more than 30 years.

6. Age Relaxation (OBC): 3 years in upper age limit.

7. Age Relaxation (SC/ST): 5 years at most.

8. Age Relaxation (PWD): 10 years is the limit.

Procedure to Apply

Both SBI and IBPS issues a notification regarding the exam. The notification mentions complete process of applying for the exam through online and offline mode.

Bank Exams are in hot demand in these days. The number of candidates who are applying for bank jobs are going on increasing.

The entry level positions in various banks will be
Clerical positions
Probationary Officers

In the case of private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own Entrance Exam to offer jobs for the candidates.

But in public sector, on behalf of all the banks, IBPS is conducting common written exam. SBI and SBI Associate Banks will not come under this category. They have not joined hands with IBPS.

One can apply for Bank Exams only in online.

But the mode of payment of fees will be either online or offline.

If it is online mode, directly you can open the application form and fill all your details. While applying, choose the payment mode as online or net banking.

once you click on submit button, it will take you to the payment page where in you have to provide debit card or net banking details. Once the payment is success, your application will be submitted.

Make a note of the transaction id for reference.

If it is offline mode, you have to go the bank by download the Challan form and have to make the payment. They will manually provide transaction details on the challana.

Bring it to your home and now fill the online application form and enter transaction details and then submit it.

Before submitting, it will ask you to upload the scan copy of photograph and signatures. So, try to have these things in your system.

Hope this information will be useful for you.

Wish you all the best.
