Hello sir, I am studying in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I want to apply for NDA exam. Please tell me which type of difficulties I will face in future?

If a candidate has passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics, then he can apply for all the wings of NDA i.e.

• Air Force
• Navy
• Naval Academy
• Army

But as you have taken PCB stream, so you cannot apply for Army wing of NDA only.

This is the only difficulty you will face in NDA.

Yes, you can appear for NDA examination but will be eligible for joining Indian Army service only.

The eligibility to appear in examination is :

Candidate must have passed 12th or pursuing from a recognised board.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years.

Only male candidates can appear for examination.

So, you can appear for examination but must have to qualify in both stages of examination for final selection.

The written examination contains two paper ( Mathematics and General Ability ). So you must have better knowledge of Mathematics upto Std 12th syllabus to qualify in it.

This is one of the major problem with candidates without mathematics.

NDA examination is conducted for recruitment in defence services. The examination is conducted twice in a year.

The examination is conducted in two stages as :

Written.

SSB ( Service Selection Board ).

Written examination contains two paper Mathematics and General Ability ( General Awareness, English, Current Affairs ). So you will have to face major difficulties in solving the questions of Mathematics in examination.
