Re: Weightage for different subjects in EE branch for GATE?
Hello friend,
In the GATE paper the core subjects like power system, control system, machine maths etc subjects are contain high weightage. but if you go through the previous years paper you will find that all core subjects are not even asked in the paper. So better to prepare all the subjects equally and give the equal priority to the all subjects. |

Re: Weightage for different subjects in EE branch for GATE?
Hi
GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and it is conducted by the IIT's to select students for the masters course. Now as such no weightage is declared by IIT for any course be it EEE, ECE, CS or any other. You have to prepare the whole syllabus or cover as much as you can. However it can be read from last years sample papers and question papers, that mostly the courses taught in the 2nd and 3rd year of your B.Tech carries most weightage in the GATE paper. I am attaching a GATE official syllabus. Please refer to it for your preparations. For any other material or information on GATE preparations, please Click Here All the best Regards #RJ# |
