Respected Sir, I want to become a Commando but I am confused regarding the Height required for Commando. I want to know what is the actual height required to become a Commando? Are there any other Physical requirements? Please answer as soon as possible.

The physical requirement to become a Commando are given below.

=> Your eyesight should be Normal and no defects

=> The weight candidate should not be more then 55 kg.

=> Your eye sight should be 6/6

=> Your height should be Minimum of 157 cm

=> Also candidate must be citizen of India.

Physical fitness criteria for Commando:-

Height

For Men : 165 cm(AROUND)
For Women :150 cm(AROUND)

OBC /SC/ST :

Male:160 cm and female :145 cm

Chest

Male candidates-84 (+ 5cm).

Female candidates-79cm(+ 5cm).

Eye Sight

For Worse Eye :6/12 or 6/9 distant vision
For good Eye :6/6 or 6/9 distant vision
