I wish to become a BSF Commando in Indian Army. I need guidance over becoming one in Indian Army. So kindly tell me the minimum height required for becoming one?

Physical fitness criteria for BSF Commando in Indian Army exam:-

Height

For Men : 165 cm(AROUND)
For Women :150 cm(AROUND)

OBC /SC/ST :

Male:160 cm and female :145 cm

Chest

Male candidates-84 (+ 5cm).

Female candidates-79cm(+ 5cm).

Eye Sight

For Worse Eye :6/12 or 6/9 distant vision
For good Eye :6/6 or 6/9 distant vision

The aspirant has to join and serve in BSF for some time, as and when the notification comes for the commando you can apply and appear for the examinations & training. The Border Security Force (BSF) constable post eligibility is a pass in 10th standard. The age should be between 18 to 23 years. The Height for males is 170 cms, chest 80-85 cms. The website link

For the post of a commando in BSF (Border Security Force) you have to clear a examination which is based on 10th. Then you have to serve for BSF for some time, then you will be eligible for a commando post in BSF.
The physical eligibility creteria for it is as follows :
● Your height is about 165 to 175 cms.
● Your chest is about 80 to 85 cms.
● Your weight is also considered.
Then you will be eligible for it.
