UPSC Conduct so many exams some of the exams are conduct ones or twice time in a year .I have listed the exams names .

Age limits of the examination :-

I.A.S :- 21 years to 30 years.

I.P.S :- 21 years to 30 years.

I.E.S :- 21 years to 30 years.

SCRA :- 17 years to 21 years.

CDS :- 19 years to 25 years.

N.D.A :- 16.5 years to 19 years.

I.F.S:- 21-30 years .

Age relaxation for Reserved category :-

Dear Friend,


Union Public Service Comission and It conducts Many examination and the age Eligiblity Are Vary form Exam to Exam, UPSC Conducts examinations Like Civil services, NDA, SCRA, IES, I.S.S, CDS, IFS....


NDA :- Candidate must have completed their 12th std from recognise board are eligible for NDA exam....

Age should be Between 16.5 to 19 years. there are no age relaxation....

SCRA :- Candidate 12th std OR Graduate degree course with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the exam are eligible for SCRA exam....

Age should be Between 17 to 21 years....

Civil services Examination :- A candidate must have completed their Graduation Study in any Discipline from Recognized Universities are eligible for Civil services Examination.....


General Age Limit is 21-30 years. but there is relaxation is available for reserved category....

Relaxation on Upper Age:

For OBC category : up to 33 years..

For SC/ST category : up to 35 years..

For PH : up to 40 years...

IES :- A candidate must have completed their 4 year engineering degree in any Discipline from Recognized Universities are eligible for IES exam...

Age should be Between 21 to 30 years...


CDS :- A candidate must have completed their Graduation Study in any Discipline from Recognized Universities re eligible for CDS exam...

Age should be Between 19 to 25 years...

There are various exams conducted by the UPSC.these are as follows :-

Civil Services (IAS/IPS) Exam

• Minimum qualification required is Bachelor degree pass out in any discipline from recognized university.
• Your minimum age should be 21 years and your age should not be above 30 years.

Indian Forest Services Exam

• Graduation pass out from recognized university.
• Your bachelor degree should be from Agriculture/Forestry Engineering/Zoology/Biology/Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Geology/Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science.
• Your minimum age should be 21 years and your age should not be above 30 years.

Indian Engineering Services Exam

• You should have a four year's bachelor engineering degree from recognized university and your degree should be approved from the AICTE.
• Your stream in Engineering should be Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Electronics and Communication .
• Your minimum age should be 21 years and your age should not be above 30 years.

Combined Defence Services Exam

• You should have a bachelor degree in Science stream from recognized university.
• Your Honors paper in Graduation should be either Physics/Mathematics.
• Your minimum age should be 18 years and age should not be above 24 years.

National Defence Academy Exam

• Minimum educational qualification should be Inter pass out with science stream.
• Subjects in science stream should be Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
• Minimum age should be 16.5 years and age should not be above 19 years.

Special Class Railway Apprentices Exam

• Minimum educational qualification should be Inter pass out with science having Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory paper in Inter level.
• Your minimum age should be 17 years and age should not be above 21 years.

UPSC - Union Public Service Commission conducts various examinations for various Dept. under Central Government and age limit for different for different UPSC exams which are as follows:-

NDA - National Defence Academy to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force - 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

CDS - Combined Defence Service to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy - 19 to 25 years with no upper age relaxation for any reserved candidate.

SCRA - Special Class Railway Apprentice to join in the Mechanical Dept. in Indian Railways - 17 to 21 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

Civil Service Exam/Indian Engineering Service - 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.
