Yes you can give your exam

but if you are general candidate this will be the last attempt for you as you are close to your age limit.

i,e, max age limity of this exam is 30 years.

for a general candidate

there is relaxation for reserved categories.

OBC candidates are relaxed for 33 years

SC/ST/PD candidates are relaxed upto 35 years..

so i wish you clear in this attempt..

best wishes

Dear,
Maximum age to apply for UPSC examination is 30 year. Age relaxation is given to SC/ST and OBC candidates.
As your age is 29 and you are already a graduate then you are eligible for UPSC examinations (Civil services examination, Banking sector examination, IFS etc.)

But You have just 1 attempt left So, give your 100% because that will be your last attempt.

GOOD LUCK

With Regards,
~Manvendra~

dear friend ,

the minimum requirement to get appear in the IFS ( INDIAN FOREST SERVICES ) exam is the completion of the graduation from the recognized Indian university in any discipline.

the age requirement for the candidates of the different categories is as follows

1) for general category candidate : 21 to 30 years
2) for OBC ( other backward classes ) candidates : 21 to 33 years.
3) for SC/ST category candidates : 21 to 35 years.

general and obc category candidates can attempt this exam for 4 and 7 times respectively.
while there is no restriction on the sc/st category candidates on the number of attempts.
IFS exam is consist of following papers
1) general engilsh
2) general knowledge
3) optional subject

in the optional subject you can choose subject in which you have more information.( as you have done the microbiology in the pg courses , i have attached the question paper of this year of the optional subject botany. i think as you deals with the courses of microbiology you will mostly prefer the botany as your optional subject).

for the application form and details of the IFS exam kindly visit the following websites

1) www.upsc.gov.in
2) www.upsconline.nic.in

here i am providing the latest question papers of the IFS exam which will give you the idea of the question paper pattern and it will be useful for the practice.

thanks and best luck
