NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as NDA I and NDA II.

The candidate must have a complete the 12th from a recognized university Or equivalent qualification are applicable for NDA exam.Candidates who are appearing in the 12th examination can also apply for the examination.

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.No age relaxation provide for reserved category .Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. You must have Citizenship of India.

NDA paper consist of Physics, Chemistry , Math , English , GK so you can prepare well to your 12th standard books.

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.Interview round conducted by SSB .In that time Medical and Physical Test will be done by SSB .

NDA I and NDA II Exam date is already over for 2012 so if you want to apply for NDA exam , then please wait for NDA notification in UPSC Website.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY(NDA) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The age limit for NDA is 16.5 to 19 years with no upper age relaxation for any type of reserved candidate.

Apart from this eligibility criteria, the candidate applying for NDA must be a male unmarried Indian candidate. He should have completed 12th in any stream from a recognised Board. The candidate appearing for final 12th exam is also eligible to appear for NDA.

The candidate should have good Physical and Mental Physique.

If you are interested you can apply for NDA-I 2013 exam which will be held in the month of April 2013 as exam process for 2012 NDA exam has already been completed.

To give the NDA Exam you need to be a minimum 12 pass out and your age should be between 16.5-19 years.

This exam can be given only by the unmarried male citizen of India. Unfortunately girls are not allowed to give this exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Academy examination and this examination is conducted by UPSC, two times in a year, for this year Both NDA Examination was already completed and if you have not appeared for this examination, then you have missed the chance.

But soon next year NDA(I) Examination notification is going to be published in the official website.

The notification is going to be published soon in the month of December, after the notification online registrations will be started, eligible candidates may fill the application form online from the official website, the application form available in 2 parts. You have to fill both the parts completely.

Only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for NDA Examination.

You have to complete your Intermediate examination to apply for NDA Examination, this examination is conducted for the recruitment of these 3 wings of NDA namely,

=> Army wings
=> Naval wings
=> Air force wings

If you have study PCM subjects in your intermediate examination, then you are eligible for all the wings of NDA.

For next year NDA(I) Examination, Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 1995 and not later than 1st July, 1997 are eligible.

The minimum age limit for NDA should lies between 16.5 to 19 years.So your age should lies between this. NDA stands for National Defense Academy and it is an entrance exam which is used to enter into the following civil services after completion of 12th with in any of the stream.

1.Indian Navy
2.Indian Air Force
3.Indian Army

Girls are not eligible for NDA.Because according to UPSC,girls can not apply for NDA and they can apply only and only after completion of graduation and by giving through the CDS entrance exam.




CDS stands for Combined Defense Services and it is an entrance exam which is done after graduation with more than 50% marks.Both girls and boys are eligible for it.

Eligibility criteria for NDA:

1.You must be an Indian.
2.Your age should lies between 16.5 to 19 years.
3.Your eye sight should be correct i.e.6/6.
4.You must be physically fit.
5.Girls are not eligible for it.
6.Only unmarried males are eligible for it.



You can either go for Indian Army,Navy or Air Force but the thing is that Arts and commerce students are eligible only and only for Indian Army and are not eligible for Navy and Air Force.

But the science students are eligible for all the three civil services.Once you have been admitted into any of the civil service,then you will get a training regarding this and after that assign the duties to you according to your position.
