NDA exam stands for national defence academy which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year.

NDA exam eligibility;-

----you must be 12th standard from a recognized university

science stream for navy and air force

any stream for army wing

----Age limits is 16.5-19 years.

---you must be unmarried male.

Upper age limit for NDA is 19 years. Those who have completed 16 ½ years are only eligible to apply. There is no age relation for reserved category candidates. Also you must be unmarried male in order to apply. Pass in 12th is the basic educational qualification required for NDA.

For the National defence academy examination a candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years. There is not any relaxation in age for any category candidates for the National defence academy examination.

The National defence academy examination is conducted twice in a year. This exam is conducted by the UPSC for the selection of candidates in Indian Air force, Army or Navy. This exam is basically conducted in 2 stages. The stage 1 is the written examination. The stage 2 is the SSB interview. Those who get qualified the stage 1 examination are only called for the stage 2 examination at any of the selection center of Army, Air force or Navy board.

Education Qualification
For the National defence academy examination a candidate should be 10+2 pass if he is applying for the Indian Army. For the Indian Air force and Navy 10+2 with physics and Maths is required.
