NDA(National Defence Academy) is conducted two times every year i.e.NDA-I and NDA-II.
This exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

AGE LIMIT: 16 ½ to 19 yrs as of first day of the month in which course is due to commence.

Educational Qualifications:
•Completion of 12th with PCM from any accredited board.
•Completion of 12th with Arts and Commerce for Army wing.

* Sex:- Male.
* Nationality:- Indian.
* Marital status:- Unmarried or single.
* Physically and mentally fit.

for the year 2013 the Age Limit: Candidates born between 02nd January, 1995 to 01st July, 1998 only are eligible for apply (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt rules)
Educational Qualifications

Army Wing of National Defence Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent examination conducted by a state education board or a university

Air Force and Naval Wing of National Defence Academy and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: 12th class pass of the 10+2 pattern of school education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination

Those candidates who have yet to qualify in the 12th class or equivalent examination and are allowed to appear in the UPSC examination should note that this is only a special concession given to them

They are required to submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent examination by 05th December, 2013

To join National Defence Academy a candidate must appear in the entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi, twice a year. The Union Public Service Commission is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the entrance examination.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy.

If your age limit is 16.5 - 19 yrs at the time of applying the exam then you can eligible for this exam .

The education qualification needed for the NDA exam is that the candidate should have completed +2 from a recognized school board of education with a fair percentage.

The NDA exam is conducted for joining in Indian Defence services and the above criteria is for Indian Army and in the case of joining in Indian Navy or Air Force you need to have completed +2 with Physics and Mathematics as subjects with a fair percentage.

As you are not satisfying that you are not eligible for the exam,so it is better that you continue your studies and then apply for the exam.

The other criteria's along with the education qualification are:

>> The candidate should be a citizen of India

>> The Martial status needed for the NDA exam is that the candidate must be a unmarried male candidate

>> The age limit needed for the NDA exam is that you need to have 16 1/2-19 years

>> You need to be physically fit while appearing for the NDA exam as it is very important.

>> Medical test

NATIOANAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

The age limit for NDA examination is 16.5 to 19 years and you must be an unmarried male.

Only Indian citizen are eligible to apply for NDA Examination.

Along with age you must have the required educational qualification. You must be 10+2 pass from a recognized Board of Education. Those who are willing to join Indian Navy or Air Force should pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

For Indian Army any stream students can apply.
