As such there is no age bar to study charted accountancy. You can study it even after 15-20 years of job experience to increase your job profile and salary.

You can appear for CPT exam. It s first level to become a CA. This exam is conducted twice a year in june and december.
This exam consists of 4 papers in two session:
1st session-

• Fundamental of accounting.
• Mercantile laws

.
2nd session-

• General economics
• Quantitative aptitude.

Its passing criteria is 35% and after qualifying this you will be allowed to write IPCC exam which is second and last level to be a CA.

The candidates who are interested in the Charted accountancy field then you have to write the CA CPT test.CA CPT exam is held 4 times a year.

Eligibility:

You must complete your +2 in any recognized university
The candidates who have passed B.Com,M.Com,LLB,ICWAI,CS,MBA at the first attempts are eligible for this exam.
The final year students are also eligible for this exam.


There is no maximum age limit for to write the CA CPT test..

If you fulfill those qualifications then you are eligible for CA.

For CA , following requirements are necessary :



*You must complete your 10+2 in any recognized university
