If you cracked Preliminary examination, then you are eligible to appear for Main examination. dear friend,
To appear in any civil service exam you have to complete your graduation first.. After completion of your graduation or being a final year candidate , you can apply for civil service exams.. This is the only educational qualification required to sit in civil service exams. So, my friend go for graduation course after completion of 12th.. All the best. |

IAS is actually not a course. It can be expanded as Indian Administrative Service. It can be called as a post to be awarded after you clear your entrance exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
To appear in that exam your age must be above 21years and below 30years. You must have completed your graduation of any discipline. So, if you have finished your 12th std join a graduation course in a recognized university. I can suggest you to join in a graduation which you can easily study and pass so that by the time of graduation you can also prepare for your exam to become an IAS officer. |

you can not apply for the IAS /PCS after class 12th
what you can do is to start preparing for these examination. as these examination are really tough exam of our country. little information about the examination Indian Administration Service exam is held once in year exam is part of Civil service exam and exam is conducted by UPSC. Eligibility criteria for IAS /PCSexam: Candidate should have complete graduation degree with any stream from a recognized university. Age should be between 21 to 30 years for General category candidates 21to 33 year for OBC category candidates 21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates Number of attempts: 4 attempts for General category candidates. 7 attempts for Obc category candidates 14 attempts for SC/ST category candidates. |

The best way to join IAS/PCS after completing 12th from any stream is that you have to complete your graduation with any recognised college along with it you have to prepare for your IAS/PCS course.

You can not join IAS after 12th but you can start preparation for this after 12th. The minimum educational qualification for IAS exam is Graduation.
IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE, to become an IAS officer you have to appear and crack Civil Service exam conducted by UPSC every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years which the upper age relaxed up to 5 years for C/ST/PH candidate and up to 3 years for OBC candidate. The selection is through three phases:- CSAT-Civil Service Aptitude Test-Preliminary Exam Civil Service Main Exam Personal Interview It is very good that you are interested for IAS during your 12th studies, hence after 12th during pursing your Graduation Degree you should prepare for Civil Service exam along with your regular studies.
