sir,can i join IAF after 12th if i have commerce in 12th?

sorry anas you cant join IAF as it require PCM as its minimum qualification............but you can join it as an logistic officer....................

eligibility for logistic officer :-

you must have completed your graduation with 60% in aggregate.....

you can apply for after your graduation get completed.....

Quite difficult but Possible.

IAF recriuts candidates with qualification like- CA,CWA,ICWA,Economics etc.

Through entry schemes like- UES,SSC,Logistic Cadre,in there Teaching Posts, and few more.I think you are also eligible for Airmen grade 'Y' (Non-technical).

But vacancy for such type is very low as campapred to the students with Science background,that's why chances get lesser if some one is not well versed.

I think its not possible for commerse students to join IAF.
because for IAF, you have to pass with 12th from pcm
subjects. after graduation you can join IAF as a post
of officer. otherwise there are no chance for 12th pass

Dear Kuldeep, I am getting trouble to answer you as because you have'nt mentioned your stream for 10+2.

I can guess you from commerce background, if so then Nothig to worry.

You have scored well in your +2 can can definite join IAF.

You can join IAF as an Armen grade 'Y' (Non-technical).

Eligibility: Passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with Science, Arts, and Commerce subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and pass in each subjects.

Selection: A rally will be organised in different states of India from time to time,Notification regarding veneu for it,documents required etc. will be announced in Employment news or other leading News papers. Selection is based firstly they will varify all your documents then Written Test of 45 marks in (English & Reasoning and general).Then Physical fitness test,then Interview,then Medical test if you will be able to qualify your nameetc,. will be displayed on Merit list.

Rally for year 2010 was already held in UP from 13-18 january.Keep reading Employment news for next notification.

Sorry my friend through commerce background it's not possible to join Indian Air force flying branch but don't worry you can try in Indian Army through NDA after 12th standard.

To join the Flying branch of Indian Air Force, you must have the subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the +2 level.
Candidate from commerce background may join other departments of Indian Air Force after completion of their bachelor degree programmes.

dear friend, on the level of +2 only technical job is present in IAF.
& for this you have to qualify +2 with PCM. As you a student of commerce that why it is not possible for you. But you can apply for IAF on the basis of 10th exam.

You can join IAF if your are a commerce student but you have to one degree for the eligibility of the exam.

The eligibility to join in the IAF,is that one must have PCM in 12th..

With your stream you can join some certain sector in IAF..May be there are some special provisions for commerce students.

Eligibility Criteria for IAF after 12th is :
Educational Qualification : Candidate should have passed their 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. If candidate is during his 10+2,he can apply provided he meet the eligibility criteria at the time of joining the Academy.
Age :16 ½ to 19 years
Nationality : Indian
Gender should be men not for women.
As you are from commerce in 12th so you are not eligible. But you can go for higher education in Accountancy as it has very good aspect in India.

I am very sorry to say that you can not join Indian air force on your +2 basis

as the minimum criteria to appear in NDA exam is to pass +2 exam in PCM .But


there is no need of worry about it,if you are keenly interested to join Air force

then you can join it on the basis of your 10th class.You can join airforce as an

airman through non -technical entry scheme.

I think you cant make it to technical side but there is a possibility to join in non technical side. All that you need to do is maintain the requirements that are needed for IAF.

you cant get chance after 12th in IAF.to get a chance in IAF you have to (PCM) physics,chemistry & mathematics in your 12th subject combination.and more over you have to score at least 60% in PCM combination.you can also join in IAF after your graduation.it may be pass or honours.you have to score 55% and crack the CDS,UES and other.

I am sorry to say but you cannot join airforce directly after completing your 10+2 in commerce stream because IAF requires candidates with science stream (PCM) having a score of at least 60% in 10+2.

However, you can join IAF after completing your graduation with good percentage of marks. You will get the job post of logistics.

In fact a professional qualification like CA, ICWA, CWA will help you to get an easy entry into the IAF.

It's not possible for a commerce student to join Indian Airforce after 12 u have to complete ur graduation first, because mode of entrance after 12 is NDA in IAF which requires science with PCM. so u need to do ur graduation first.

IAF (Indian Air force) can be joined after 10+2.
But you are not eligible to join IAF as you are from commerce stream.
Through NDA, we can apply for IAF.... but he should be from science stream.
So, sorry to inform you that you are not eligible.
