If your ultimate goal is to join Indian Space Research Organization then you need to pursue Master's degree in Science in Physics.

M.Sc candidates in Physics are eligible to apply for ISRO entrance exam.

Academic qualification: Engineering graduates or master's degree in science candidates with 60% marks are eligible to apply for exam.

The age limit is 21-30 years.

If you are interest in Space research field, then after pursuing B.Sc. Physics, you can do post graduation courses like:
  • M.tech/P.hd (Aerospace engineering)
  • M.tech.P.hd (Aeronautical engineering)
  • P.hd (Astro physics).
  • P.hd (Geophysics).
  • P.hd (Metaphysics)

These all courses are related to Physics and will lead you towards your interest in Space Science. In case, if you are acquiring these degrees from reputed institutes like IITs, NITs or IISc, then it would be more fruitful to you. Ultimately, you can be recruited to the posts of Astronauts, Scientists in ISRO, or DRDO.
