What are the career options after completion of B.Sc Physics?
Hi Sir/Mam, Am now in S.Y.B.Sc and I am interested in space research so what should I do for this? Can you please guide me with the complete details on the same? It will be really helpful if you can answer me back soon on this. Awaiting to get the response. Thanks!

If your ultimate goal is to join Indian Space Research Organization then you need to pursue Master's degree in Science in Physics.
M.Sc candidates in Physics are eligible to apply for ISRO entrance exam. Academic qualification: Engineering graduates or master's degree in science candidates with 60% marks are eligible to apply for exam. The age limit is 21-30 years. |

If you are interest in Space research field, then after pursuing B.Sc. Physics, you can do post graduation courses like:
These all courses are related to Physics and will lead you towards your interest in Space Science. In case, if you are acquiring these degrees from reputed institutes like IITs, NITs or IISc, then it would be more fruitful to you. Ultimately, you can be recruited to the posts of Astronauts, Scientists in ISRO, or DRDO. |

You can opt for government jobs as well as private jobs.
Some of the government sector jobs are:- Banks SSC Railways UPSC BPSC CDS Army Navy If you are interested in teaching sector then you should pursue B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Then after you will be eligible to apply for TET, CTET, BTET and many more. You can also go for higher studies. The only way to work in Space Research is through Indian Space Research Organization competitive entrance examination.
After Bachelor of Science, you should pursue Master of Science though JAM exam in Indian Institute of Technology. After Master of Science, you should apply for ISRO entrance examination. The age limit for examination is 21-30 years. |
