As per cbse or ISCE guidelines can she take admission for 1st standard for year 2018-201? Is it possible to get the admission? What is the criteria followed? Can you please provide me the complete information on the same soon. Awaiting for the answer. Thank you!

The required qualification to get admission in 1st standard in ICSE or CBSE school is that candidate must have the age of 4 years and above.

Other than that candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance test conducted by respective school and must have all essential documents such as birth certificate, address proof, aadhar card etc for admission.

There is no any official eligibility declared by CBSE or ICSE to get admission in Std I as it is the school affiliated to these board decide the criteria of admission.

Admission is conducted through written entrance test or just by interview.

The required minimum age to get admission is that candidate must have attained the age of 4 years or above ( non officially varies with school ).

Required documents for admission birth certificate, aadhar card,photograph and some extra documents as ----residential certificate, health report, father income etc..

To get admission for 1st standard in the year 2018, your child should have passed UKG from a recognised school. Your child should be at least 5.6 years old to be eligible to get admission in first standard. Admissions in first standard in most of the CBSE schools are done through admission test conducted by the respective school. Once, you complete the admission process successfully, your son will be offered admission in 1st standard in the respective school in the year 2018.
