Please visit the school in which you want to get the admission for age limit to get admission in STD I.

The CBSE does not have any criteria for the admission in the STD 1. The Directorates of State declares the minimum age criteria for admission in school of the particular state.

No, you cannot let her daughter take admission in class 1 at the age of 4 years & 5 months. The minimum age to apply for the class 1 is 6 years. So, you need to wait for 2 more years at least. By that time prepare your daughter.

The minimum age required for the child to be eligible to get admission in 1st standard is 5 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission. Since, your daughter was born on 02/05/2012, she is 4 years 5 months old at present, she will be 4 years 11 months old as on 31st March, 2017, so, she is not eligible to get admission in 1st standard in CBSE Board school.

I am sorry to say that she cannot get admission in 1st standard this year under CBSE Board as her age is below the required age criteria.
Candidates age must be above 5 years of age at the time of admission in 1st standard under CBSE Board.

--- There is no fixed rule on age limit for admission in 1st standard.

--- However schools has designed their own eligibility criteria.

--- You must have two-and-a-half-years old for admission in nursery and three and a half years for LKG admission.

--- But from the academic year 2018-2019, the minimum age limit for applying admission in 1st standard is restricted to 6 years.

--- As per above rule, your daughter is not eligible for admission in 1st standard.
