Plz tell me about the date of next IAS prelims Exam. and how much minimum nos. will be obtain in prelims exam by a SC or General Student

The schedule of Civil Services Examination 2012 is as under;

Preliminary Examination
20th May 2012.

The Main Examination shall be conducted from 5th October 2012 onwards.

The application for the civil services examination 2012 was supposed to be
submitted between 4th Feb to 5th Mar 2012.

The schedule for CSE 2013 is not yet available.

Once decided, it will be available on http://upsc.gov.in/.

IAS examination was held no 20-05-2012.

The application procedure was already closed, if you want to apply then wait for the next year notification.

IAS(Indian Administrative Service) exam was conducting by the UPSC once in a year

Eligibility criteria:

>>You should be complete graduation from any recognised university.

>>Candidate should be a citizen of india.

>>Age limits is 21years to 30years, 3years age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates.

>>Final year candidates also eligible

The date announced for the IAS prelims exam is 19th May 2013.Sunday.
And as far as the cut off is concerned, it changes every year, but on a rough idea, if you attempt 70% paper with 80% accuracy, then you'll be having a strong chance to get through the mains.
