what are the dates for ips exam in 2013 & eligibility for ips paper & which is the last date to fill the receipt form

Hello friends,

Eligibility to appear in IPS exam:

1.IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. .

2.Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.

3.Age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate.
In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

4.Also you must be citizen of India.

IPS Exam 2013 Paper Pattern :-


The UPSC examination comprises of two successive stages.
The Preliminary Examination:

1. Preliminary Exam comprises multiple choice questions and is also a qualifying exam for appearing into second exam.

2. The Main Examination:
Main Examination which comprises a written exam and an interview.


IPS Exam 2013 Exam Date :-
The exam will held in the month of May.
