good morning!
I am student of BSc but I want to become a IPS officer .Sir I don't know what criteria to become a IPS . I want to know what physical eligibility for IPS . I want to know what age criteria and important tips for become a IPS.

Yes, B.Sc candidates are eligible for IPS exam.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC through civil service exam.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IPS exam.

Your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is given below -

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates
3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates
10 years relaxation for PHC candidates
5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman

Number of Attempts:-

For open category:- 4 attempts
For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts

Physical fitness criteria for IPS exam:-

Height

For Men : 165 cm(AROUND)
For Women :150 cm(AROUND)

OBC /SC/ST :

Male:160 cm and female :145 cm

Chest

Male candidates-84 (+ 5cm).

Female candidates-79cm(+ 5cm).

Eye Sight

For Worse Eye :6/12 or 6/9 distant vision
For good Eye :6/6 or 6/9 distant vision

Eligibility
>> Only Indian citizens may apply for Civil Service Examination.

#. A graduation degree in any stream is required.


Age Limit

#.The age limit is 21 to 30 years for IPS.

#.Age limit is extended to 33 years for OBC.

#. The SC/ST gets 5 years relaxation in upper age limit

Physical requirement
Height – Male 165 cm & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm
Female 150 cm & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm
Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm.
Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm.
Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye.
6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye.

The UPSC civil services examination is the exam you need to appear in if you want to become the IPS officer.
This is the exam conducted by the UPSC (union public service commission). The exam comprises three sections
Preliminary exam, main exam and interview.
For appearing in this exam, the eligibility criteria is
You should be a graduate and your age should be in between 21-32 years.
3 years relaxation for obc
5 years relaxation for sc/st category,
10 years for PH.
There is also physical fitness which is required to get into the IPS service
Height – 162 cm
Chest 82 cm
Eye sight- 6/12 in the better eye and 6/9 in the worse eye.

IPS ( indian police service ) officer is the recruitment held by upsc.
Eligibilty criteria:-

1) educational qualification :- should be graduate,must posses degree passed certicate.
Final year candidate can also apply for the same.

2) age limit:- minimum age is 21 years and maximum age is 30 years.

3) height :- for men (160 cm for sc/st) and 165cm ( general).
For women 150cm for general and 145 cm for sc/st.

4) eye sight :- 6/6 or 6/9 for distant vision.

5) must be mentally and physically sound healty.

6) must be indian.
