HI,
You can join Indian Army after passing 12th.
For this you have to qualify the National Defence Academy

N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

After qualifying N.D.A exam you can join Defence services like:-
> Army
> Air Force
> Navy

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

Joining Procedure: If you want enter into a Indian Army The following are the joining Procedure
1.Written Exam
2.Personal Interview
3.Physical Examination.
Written Exam: If you want join in Indian Army you should have given an entrance examination of NDA(National Defence Academy).Which is conducting by Union Public Service Commission Two times in a year.The age limit is 16.5-19 years.
Syllabus for NDA Exam: The following are the syllabus for NDA Exam
1.General Awareness
2.Elementary Maths

this exam was held in every year.

Hii..
i think girls cannot participate in NDA. Only unmarried indian male is eligible for nda.
But you can paticipate in Indian Army.
If you have Science side then you can join Indian Air Force or Indian Navy.
you can apply for test for officer.
