Generally people thought that foreign language are tough to do, we cann't learn a foreign language easily. But the actual thing is just opposite. Learning a foreign language is very easy. even if you don't have anyone to practice then also you can learn it easily. Also people generally think that this language is easy that language is easy,but in real sense all languages are easy either foregin or indian . The thing is we are more practised with our local language only so we think that all other languages are though.
and with respect to german its not at all like you should go for german only infact the most spoken foreign language in the world after english is french and spanish. Still why people say that you have to go for german is because it is more similar to english.

Many learn it as hobby. others learn it for earning. There are different ways. German is i think most demand able language because very few learn them.
