Eligibility criteria for SI exam :-

Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit: 20 to 25 Years as on 1st January 2015.

Age Relaxation -

5 Years for SC/ST,
3 Years for OBC,
For other eligible category candidates as per Govt Rules.

The minimum educational qualification qualification required to become a Inspector is Graduation from any stream can apply for post of inspector, The post of inspector is held in arious departments as-

Police inspector

Taxcise inspector

Central excise inspector

Examiner

Income tax officer

Inspector in Banking

In C.B.I.( Central bureau of investigation)

In C.I.D.

In Narcotic department

To get this post you can apply for the various exams as-:

I.B.(Intelligence Bureau)

C.G.L.(Combined graduate level)

Exam pattern for C.G.L. and its selection procedure is very easy.-

Written exam - Preliminary exam and mains exam

Interview

Medical test

so every where mostly you required to be a graduate to apply for the post of Inspector somewhere on state level you can apply for this on 12th base but most times such reputed post only go for the graduate candidates.

Home Inspector----

If you want to become a Home Inspector first you pass out these give exam.

Electrical
Roofing
Plumbing
Heating / Air Conditioning
Interiors / Exteriors
Structure / Insulation

Construction & Building Inspector----

In order to become an Inspector the first thing required is

SELECTION PROCEDURE :


Selection of candidate is done in impartial manner that is one has to clear all the three stages with cut-off marks as prescribe under government norms.

** Interview/ Medical test

Clearing all the round will make you inspector in concerned department.

To become inspector you have to give exam conducted by SSC the name of exam is CGL (Combined Graduate Level) after clearing that exam you have to give interview and then you can join as an inspector.

To become an inspector,the qualification needed is bechelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university.
The age limit is 21 to 28 years in general category,but there is relaxation for OBC andSC/ST category by 3 and 5 years respectively.
Candidate should be physically fit and the minimum height should be 170 cm.
One has to clear exam conducted by SSC to become an inspector.
