Re: What is the eligibility for BCA college lecturership?
MCA qualification is enough to become a lecturer in BCA College. But in most cases candidates with good academic records are preferred. If you are seeking the job in government colleges, they you need to qualify NET. Those with a minimum of 55% marks in master’s degree can only try for NET. Ph.D in Computer Science is another way to become professor in colleges

Re: What is the eligibility for BCA college lecturership?
To become a lecturer in BCA colleges you must be atleast MCA from a recognised University.
After completing MCA you can apply for Lecturer posts in private colleges. Some government colleges also hire MCA Graduates on Contractual basis when there is shortage of lecurers in college but they are not permanent. To get a permanent lecturer job in Government BCA college you have to qualify UGC NET exam which is conducted every year for various disciplines. You have to opt for computer science subject in UGC NET and clear the exam with atleast 50 % then only you will be NET qualified. After qualifying NET you can apply in any Government colleges which are teaching BCA. There are state level NET exams also so you can apply for SET also after doing MCA. Re: What is the eligibility for BCA college lecturership?
Nw you completed your BCA & want to become a BCA lecturer.then you have to require further study in MCA.
For BCA lecturer , your min. Qualification should be MCA & if you desire high salary or become a lecturer in good college , then you need to complete PG also. For Government lecturer in BCA - you have to qualify the UGC NET exam & have to apply for the lecturer , you will be selected according to your secured score. |

Re: What is the eligibility for BCA college lecturership?
Your choice is good to become a lecturer. In private colleges you should get lecturership by only completing your msaters degree. But when you are interested in government colleges then you have to qualify NET then only you are eligible.
Candidates should have atleast 55% of marks in their master degree. |

Quote:
as you are completing your master's in computer science then after completion you can go for teaching in colleges in that respective subject. you dont have to go for further courses because after post graduation you can appear for the NET exam as conducted by UGC every year in the month of june and december . This net exam.is compulsory if you opt for government lecturership or assistant professor post. so go for NET exam if you want to be a government lecturer . But i say NET exam is good if you give so rather going for private teaching. all d best |
