If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then you are eligible for M.Tech entrance exam.

There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years.

For M.Tech admission, you need to qualify in GATE entrance exam.

For M.Tech admission you need to have B.Tech degree in the relevant stream from a recognized institute. Also, make sure that you have got above 50% marks as most of the entrance exam exam ask for it.

The best exam for getting admission in top M.Tech colleges is GATE. If you can qualify this exam then you will be eligible for stipend also during your post graduation.

Eligibility Criteria Required to pursue M.Tech Course:

>> Candidates must have completed B.E/ B.Tech in the concerned discipline for respective stream in M.E/ M.Tech. Some of the major M.Tech disciplines are,
* Electronics and Electrical Engineering
* Mechanical Engineering
* Computer Science and Engineering
* BioTechnology
* Chemical Engineering
* Civil Engineering

>> Candidates must have passed Bachelor Degree in the above disciplines with 6.5 CGPA or 60% marks in Bachelor Degree from a recognized university.

>> Besides meeting the above eligibility criteria, you are required to qualify GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or State based Post Graduate Common Entrance Examination in order to study M.Tech/ M.E.

For doing M.Tech a candidate must complete B.Tech/BE course or M.Sc in related fields.

For doing M.Tech a candidate must write a Entrance exam called GATE which is conducted every year.

The eligibility for M.Tech :
1. A candidate must complete B.Tech/B.E from a recognized board
2. A candidate who have candidate who had completed M.Sc in Maths, physics, computers, electronics etc can also apply.
3. There is no age limit or percentage bar for doing M.Tech.

Masters of technology is a post graduate course and the duration of the course is 2 years.

The minimum eligibility criteria for getting an admission for M.Tech program is that the candidate must have completed graduation degree in B.E/ B. Tech with 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.

The candidate has to appear for GATE examination to get a seat to pursue M.Tech courses in relevant disciplines.
