Re: Can i appear M.Tech after completing B.Sc(Biotechnology)? Eligibility criteria for the same?
Eligibility for GATE
a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. b) Master’s degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes. c) Candidates in the second or higher year of the Four-year Integrated Master’s degree programme (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree programme and Dual Degree programme in Engineering/Technology. d) Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by IE(I), AMICE(I) by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(I)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech. Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible. these are the eligibility criterion given in the GATE 2011 information brochure. GATE is the examination to take admission in M.Tech program. according to these criterion you are not eligible for M.Tech. for M.Tech you should have 10+2+4 degree. but you have 10+2+3 so you are not eligible. if you want to do M.Tech then first you have to do M.Sc. after that appear in GATE examination and through GATE examination take admission in a good institution in M.tech programme. all the best. |

Re: Can i appear M.Tech after completing B.Sc(Biotechnology)? Eligibility criteria for the same?
Hello,
No, you can not appear for the M.Tech after completion of the B.Sc. The eligibility criteria for appearing into the GATE exam is Msc, B.Tech or equivalent. So you are eligible after Msc. You can apply for GATE exam in final year of Msc or after passing the M.Sc. |

No , you can not take admission M.Tech after compliting B.sc (Biotechnology).
A candidate should appear GATE examination to take admination M.Tech. You have allredy complited 3 years Bachelor course after 12th. According to eligibility criteria you are not eligibile for GATE. But it will be better for you take admission M.sc . After compliting M.sc you can write GATE examination . After appering GATE with good marks you can take admission M.tech. |

Re: Can i appear M.Tech after completing B.Sc(Biotechnology)? Eligibility criteria for the same?
dear friend,
no , my friend you are not eligible for M.tech course wright now.. To pursue m.tech course you have to qualify in GATE exam. To appear in GATE exam you need to fulfill the eligibility crietria:- 1.candidate must have complete the graduation in fields like- BE/B.tech/B.Arch or Candidate must have complete the post graduation in fields like-M.Sc/MBA/MCA.. 2.Final year candidate can also apply for GATE exam. 3.No age limit 4.No number of attempts restriction. These are the eligibility criteria you need to fulfill.. So, go for M.SC course first.. After which you can apply for GATE exam.. All the best. |
