The qualification needed and the other criterion to be satisfied for sub-inspector post are

**You should have Indian citizenship.

**The Age Limit-You age should be between 20 to 25 years.

Age Relaxation available for reserved categories-

3 years for OBC reserved category candidates.

5 years for SC/ST reserved category candidates.

5 years for candidates who have achieved distinction in sports.

Physical Requirements :

**A initial 5 kilometer run which should be completed in 25 minutes (* impossible without practice)

**A long jump in which a candidate should jump a distance of 3.80 meters.

**A 100 meter sprint which should be completed in 15 seconds.

**An 800 meter run which should be completed in 170seconds

**A high jump in which a jump of 1.2 meters is required and

**A shot put throw which should be thrown a distance of 5.60 meters



exam pattern:

**English (Descriptive)

**Arithmetic

**test of reasoning

**Mental ability.

**General studies

ELIGIBILITY for subinspector ;

you should have completed b.tech/ degree from any recognised university

you should have secured 50% in your degree

your age should be between 21-25 years , for open category persons

your age should be between 21-28 years , for obc category persons

your age should be between 21-30 years , for sc/st category perssons

in some cases, the stste governmnt will change the age critieria by increasing the age for all categories .
This will happens in rare cases only .

You should attach all the forms or documents along with passport photo and you should give them to your nearest police office in your city

Physical:

Male: Height: 168 cms. Chest: 81-86 cms.

Female: Height: I 52 Cms. Weight: 47.5 Kg.

1. Age= minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years. Where there is 5year relaxation for SC/ST and 3 year for OBC.
2. Candidate must have passed intermediate or equivalent from any recognized board.
3. Candidate must have gained at least 50% in his graduation B.tech is preferred.

1. Preliminary selection test
