If you are completed 10th exam then you are not eligible to apply for this examination . But after completed 12th examination then you are eligible to apply for this examination .

Selection Process :- Written exam , SSB Interview , Physical Test .

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy Examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Examination .

Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam :-

For Army :- Candidate should have a completed 12th exam with any stream of a recognized School or equivalent qualification and there is no minimum marks required for this examination . Final year of 12th exam can also eligible to apply . Any 12th candidate can apply for this examination and there is no specific subjects . Any intermediate candidate like Commerce , Science and Arts ..etc.

For Navy / Air force :- Candidate should have a completed 12th with Physics and Mathematics as subjects in their examination . If you are completed 12th with Commerce then you are not eligible to apply for Air force / Navy .

Age limits for this examination is should have a minimum 16.5 years and 19 years ( i.e born not earlier than 2nd July , 1994 and not later than 1st January , 1997 are eligible ) .

Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for this examination and candidates should be Citizen of India .

NDA (II) Last date for receipt of application was already closed on 04/06/12 and the examination will be held on 16/08/12 .

The candidate must have completed 12th level from any recognized state board of india.

The candidate with commerce stream only indian army you are eligible. You are not eligible for the indian air force and navy.

The candidate should complete the graduation from any recognized school or equivalent discipline.

There is no minimum percentage of marks required to eligible for this exam.

The final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this exam.

The indian air force and navy exams compulsory subjects need physics chemistry and mathematics.

The age limit should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

There is no age criteria required to eligible for this exam.

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this exam.

Girls are not eligible for this exam.

UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION conducts NDA(NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY) exam twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

To be eligible for NDA the first criteria is the candidate must be an unmarried Indian male candidate only.
He should have either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board.
He should be within the age of 16.5 to 19 years of age and should have possessed good Physical and Mental health.

As a commerce student without Mathematics, you can apply for Indian Army of NDA after 12th standard.

Dear friend,

As you have just passed 10th Class, so you cannot appear for NDA Exam now.

You must be 12th class, or have passed 12th Class to appear for NDA Exam.

Since, you are from Commerce Stream, so you can apply for Army wing of NDA only.

UPSC has recently released Notification for NDA II 2013 Exam that will be commenced on 11 August 2013.

You can view it through Official Site of UPSC i.e. http://upsc.gov.in

You can apply for NDA Online only through upsconline.nic.in

Eligibility Conditions for NDA Exam:

>> Only Unmarried Male Candidates can apply for this exam.

>> Age of the candidate must lie between 16.5 to 19 years or you must have born between 02-01-95 and 01-07-1998.

>> You must be 10+2 passed/appearing from any stream.

Candidates will have to pass three stages for qualifying NDA Exam i.e.

>> Written Test

>> SSB Interview

>> Medical Test

Note that, if you don't have Physics and Mathematics in 10+2, then you are allowed to apply for Army wing of NDA only.
