Yes of course , you are eligible to apply for Army wings through NDA examination .

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year as namely NDA I and NDA II . NDA I examination was already completed and NDA II examination will be held on 19 / 08 / 12 , Last date for receipt of application :- 04 / 06 / 12 .

To apply for this exam , the candidate need to completed 12th exam with any desire subject of a recognized School or equivalent qualification and there is no minimum marks required for NDA exam . Those who are pursing in the final year of 12th exam may also eligible to apply for this examination .

The age should have a minimum 16.5 years and 19 years and there is no upper age limits for this examination . Unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply for NDA examination .

NDA exam is conducted for admission to following wings :- Army , Navy and Air force .

Commerce Stream candidates are not eligible to apply for Air force and Navy examination but commerce candidates are eligible to apply for Army wings .

CAT Stands for Common Admission Test and this examination is conducted by Indian Institute of Management Once in a year .

To apply for this examination , the candidate need to completed graduate degree with any desire subject from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and the candidate must secure at least 50% aggregate marks in their examination (40% aggregate marks for reserved categories ) . Those who are appearing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for this examination .

You need to fulfil the below eligibity criteria to apply for the NDA exams:

Education:
12th pass for the Army wing
12th pass with Phy and Maths as subjects for the Airforce and Navy wing

Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years

Papers of the NDA written tests are:

Mathematics of 300 marks
General ability of 600 marks



Eligibilty to apply for the CAT exams is:
Graduation pass in any stream with minimum 50% marks for General and OBC candidates and minimum 45% marks for the SC/ST candidates.
Final year Graduation students can also apply
