165cm required for men (general also)and st(not st/obc)required 160 com.
150cm required for women(general also)and st(not st/obc)required 145 cm.

Indian police Service (IPS) & Indian Forest Service (IFS) this exam are conducted through UPSC every year , To became an IPS or IFS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam, there are some eligibility criteria which are as follows...

You should be complete the Graduation from recognized University.

There is no min percentage required for this exam.

Final year candidates are eligible for this exam.

Your age limit is between 21 to 30 years.

Upper age relaxation is eligible for other categories.

3 years for the OBC

5 years for SC\ST

10 years for PH.

Both male & female candidates are eligible for this exam.

No of attempts for General category is 4 times.

7 times for OBC

for male 162cm(5ft 4inches) for general/OBC/SC category.

for female 155cm(5ft 1inch) for general/OBC/SC category.

The full name of IPS is Indian Police Services.

This exam comes under the civil services exam.

Civil services IAS/IPS/IFS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
