java applet

Applet is a special kind of java program that is designed to be transmitted over the internet and executed by the a java compatabile web browser. It is downloaded for the interaction with user and run in the browser. they are typically used to display data provided by the server, the applet allows some functionality to be moved from the server to the client.

The creation of the applet changed internet programming because it expanded the universe of objects .In general two broad categories of objects that are transimitted between server and client::passive data
dynamic ,active programs

For example:

when you read email you are viewing passive data, your program is also a passive data until you execute it.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
