WBUT B. Tech in CSE 8th Sem. Advanced Java Programming Papers
Paper of Java Programming is study of Java language, it is like C & C++ but it is of fewer low-level facilities. This programing language is in vast use. It was discovered in 1995 by James Gosling. Advanced Java Programming is of object oriented type.
Which Pattern id followed?
Paper of Java Programming consists of 11 questions in it and these questions are distributed in 3 groups. Group A is of 10 multiple choices type questions with 4 choices to choose. Group B is of 5 short answer type questions from which 3 are to be solved. Group C is of 5 long answer type questions from which 3 are to be solved. Each question is of equal value of marks in each section.

Paper contains question based upon Enterprise architecture styles, Relative comparison of the different layers of architectures, MVC Architecture, J2EE WEB SERVICES, Different components & containers, Advantages over CGI, Servlet life cycle, Accessing user information by means of Request & Response, Comparison of EJB & Java Beans, RMI, Java Data Objects, Integration of EJB and JDO, Establishing a database connection and executing SQL statements, JDBC prepared statements, Java & XML, XML syntax, Parsers, JAXP and JAXB etc.
Importance of the paper:
Paper of advanced Java Programming is an elective subject but is chosen by most of the students. The subject is of high demand and knowledge in this field is helpful in many industries.
Total marks and time:
Total marks which can be scored in the paper are 70 and time limitation to secure these marks is 3 hours only.
