please tell me the latest fee structure of mca in iit roorkee.... as per information i m confused about it...

The fee structure of Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee for MCA course is:

MCA 1st semester fee: Rs 33420/-
MCA 2nd semester fee: Rs 25250/-
MCA 3rd Semester fee: Rs 25630/-
MCA 4th Semester fee: Rs 25250/-
MCA 5th semester fee: Rs 25630/-
MCA 6th semester fee: Rs 25250/-

Please note that there might be slight changes in the current year fee structure.

For taking admission in MCA course in IIT-Roorkee you will have to apply for IIT JAM Entrance Exam.After passing in this entrance test you will only be aqble to take admission in MCA Course.

Eligibility requirements for IIT JAM for MCA Course :

• Candidates should have a Bachelor degree with Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Technology from recognized university.
• Candidates who are from General/OBC category should have a minimum of 50% marks and Candidates who are from SC/ST category should have a minimum of 45% marks in Graduation.

Exam Pattern for IIT JAM for MCA Course :

• Total number of questions will be 100.
• Total duration of entrance test will be 02 hours.
• Each questions will be of 01 marks and Negative marking will be 0.33 for each questions.

Exam Syllabus for IIT JAM for MCA Course :

1. Mathematics.
2. Computer Awareness.
3. Analytical Ability and General Awareness.

Fee Structure details for IIT Roorkee for MCA Course


A) Semester Fee details(to be paid in each semester) :

1. Tution Fees - Rs 10,000.
2. Examination Fees - Rs 300.
3. Enrolment Fees - Rs 300.
4. Medical Fees - Rs 500.
5. Internet and Computer Charges - Rs 500.
6. Gymkhana Activities - Rs 3000.

B) Hostel Fees details(to be paid in each semester) :

1. Hostel seat rent - Rs 2500.
2. Fan,Electricity and Water Charges - Rs 2500.
3. Hostel/Subsidy Contribution - Rs 2000.

C) Mess Charges(to be paid in each semester) :

1. Mess Advance - Rs 10,500.
2. *One Time Mess Admission Fee(Paid Only Once) - Rs 2000.
3. Mess Security - Rs 2000.
