IAS stands for Indian Entrance Examination. The examination is called Civil Services examination. This examination has three stages and marking scheme for all stages are different.
>>In stage I, there are two papers called General Studies and CSAT paper. Both papers consist of 100 questions of 2 marks each. Negative marking of 1/3rd for every wrong answer. >>In Mains exam, there are two language papers, essay paper of 250 marks, four General studies paper of 250 marks, two optional papers of 300 marks each. >>Last stage is interview of 275 marks. |
