What is the percentage requirement for SC and BC category candidates for doing B.Ed in Haryana?
What is the percentage requirement for SC and BC category candidates for doing B.Ed in Haryana? Can you please let me know the details on the same? What is the minimum criteria followed and what is the caste based relaxations? Hope I will get the answer soon.

The eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Education course is:
1. You must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam. 2. The percentage of marks required is 50% for general category candidates. It is relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates. Being SC candidate, you need to have at least 45% marks to become eligible for B.Ed course. |

To get admission for pursuing B.Ed course in Haryana, you should have passed Graduation course in Arts or Science or Commerce stream with 50% aggregate marks from a Government recognised university. Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided to SC/ ST candidates for offering admission in B.Ed course. Admissions in B.Ed course are done through merit basis of Bachelor's degree examination marks or through entrance examination conducted by the respective college/ university.

Minimum Percentage in bachelor's or master's is 45% for SC/ST candidates for taking B.Ed admission in Haryana. Kurukshetra University conducts centralized online counselling for B.Ed seats around 60,000 in about 460 colleges in the state of Haryana. 85% seats of total shall be filled from candidates of haryana and other remain 15% seats will be filled from candidates of All India including Haryana.
Eligibility For B.Ed In Haryana You must have passed bachelor's or master's with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized university. Caste Based Relaxation - SC/ST : 20% - Backward Class of Haryana : 27% - PH : 3% - Ex-Servicemen/Freedom Fighters : 3% B.Ed Fees In Haryana - For Government and Government Aided Colleges : Rs.10,000/- - For Self-Financed Colleges : Rs.38,500/- |
