What is the post for computer engineering students in nda ?how can apply?i am in b.e.(for female)

hello friend
after your BE you can apply for the CDS exams
actually with CDS you will have offiecer level posts
the age limit for CDS is
19-23 for Navy
19-22 for air force
19-24 for army

unfortunately,girls are not eligible for nda exams

NDA stands for the National defense academy .This entrance exam is conducted at 10+2 level for the candidates who are desirous of joining different wings of defense .

The age limit is 16.5-19 years.

I do not think that your age will less than 19 years after completing bachelor's degree in computer science engineering .

You must be over 19 years ,so you are not eligible for the NDA examination.It would be better for your to approach for the CDS exams.

It is just like NDA exams conducted also two times every year by the UPSC but the minimum of bachelor's degree in any discipline is required for the CDS exams.

Since you are computer science graduate ,you are eligible for all the four academies under CDS :

Indian military academy :19-24 years

Officer's training academy :19-25 years

Indian Naval academy :19-22 years

Air force academy :19-23 years

Examination has two stages :

1.Written test

2.Service selection board

After clearing both the stages ,you will be able to get good technical post in academy for which you have applied.

The Full Form of NDA is National Defense Academy. The NDA Exam is conducted every year for those want to join the Indian defense through any of the below mentioned wings :

* Indian Army

* Indian Navy

* Indian Air Force

As far as i am concerned , you are not going to be eligible to appear for the NDA exam due to the following reasons :

1) You are a female candidate.

2) Your age must not be in between 16.5-19 years.

As we all know that Only Male candidates are allowed to appear for the NDA Exam , So there is no chance for Girls to even think about the NDA Exam.

But you can join Defense Services through the CDS [Combined Defense Services] Exam as you ahve completed Graduation in Computer Science & Engineering.

The CDS Exam is also conducted twice every year by the Union Public Service Commission as CDS-I and CDS-II in the months of February and September.

The Eligibility Criteria required for CDS Exam are :

** The candidate must have completed Graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

** The candidate should not have any pending backlog.

** Candidates appearing in final year of Graduation can also apply.

** Age Limit :

a) For Indian Military Academy : 19-22 yrs

b) For Naval Academy : 19-23 yrs

c) For Air Force Academy : 19-24 yrs

d) For Officer`s Training Academy : 19-25 yrs

** Both Male and Female Candidates can apply for the CDS Exam.

** The Candidate must be an Indian.

>> OR A Subject of Nepal. OR,

>> A Subject of Bhutan.

According to the age limit criteria UPSC has set candidates over 19 years are not eligible for NDA examinations. If you have completed Computer Engineering or pursuing in the final year you can take up CDS examinations for joining Indian Defense. By the way you have asked for NDA examination so the details are mentioned below:

* UPSC conducts NDA examination twice every year in the months of April & August as NDA I & NDA II respectively.

* Candidates completed 10+2/equivalent from a recognized board are eligible to apply.

* 12th appearing candidates can also apply for this examination.

* Age of candidate must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

No relaxation in upper age have been granted to OBC/SC/ST candidates.

* Citizenship - Candidate must be an Indian Citizen or,

A subject of Nepal / Bhutan.

* Sex - Only Male candidates are allowed to take up this examination.

* Marital Status - Unmarried candidates only.

Examination is conducted in three stages:

i) Written Test

ii) Interview

iii) Medical Test.

Candidates must qualify all the stages for being recruited in any wings of Indian Defense.

Educational Qualification :

IMA/OTA : A degree from a recognised university & age limit 19 to 24 years

Indian Naval Academy : Bachelor Degree of Engineering & age limit 19 to 22 years

Air Force Academy : A degree from a recognised university & 10+2 with Physics & Maths or Bachelor Degree of Engineering & age limit 20 to 24 years
