Quote:
In order to qualify the test, candidates need to score a minimum of 50% marks , which is 100 marks out of 200. Those who will score 99 marks or less, will be declared failed. Candidates who scores 140 marks (70%) are declared as Passed with distinction. The Common Proficiency Test is conducted twice a year and in order to be eligible to take the test in a particular month, i.e. either in the month of June or December, one needs to register atleast two months prior to the first day of the month in which the test is supposed to be conducted. The registration is open throughout the year and candidates who have passed the secondary level of examination are eligible to register but in order to take the test, qualifying +2 level of examination is mandatory. For more information, refer to the official website of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. |
