What is the procedure to join Army college in Dehradun after studying in 9th standard?


My son is now studying in 9th std.
What are the procedures to join army college in dehradun
next year.

First of all, you need to complete your graduation for getting into IMA Dehradun. You can get the forms from online. There are medical and physical standards to be met for joining the Indian Army. Candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the higher secondary examination and atleast, have 40% in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English. During the time of admission, he should be 17 1/2 years and must not be over 23 years of age. You can join the Technical Entry scheme and university entry scheme.
One is eligible for becoming an officer only by clearing the ACC entrance test. On clearing the test, you have to appear for the SSB. You have to attend training Army Cadet College and Indian military Academy. You will have 3 years course from Army Cadet College and an year course in Indian Military Academy. In general, candidate must citizen of India and serving as a soldier in Army, Navy or Air Force. Unmarried candidate’s age must be between 19 to 24 years age. There will be a written test comprise of four papers 300 marks each. The papers are Paper 1 – General Mental ability test (GMAT)
Paper 2 – Current & General awareness test (CGAT)
Paper 3 – Interactive Communicative English (ICE)
Paper 4 – Academic Content Test (ACT)
Successful candidates are called for SSB and medical test.
