Qualification for joining airforce after completing 12...please tell me what is it

Indian Air Force can be joined through cracking NDA(National Defence Academy) entrance exam conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA after 12th from Science stream.

The eligible candidate aspiring for Indian Air Force wing of NDA, must be an unmarried Indian Male only having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The selectoion is through written exam followed by Personal Interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

After passing 12th with Physics and Maths you can join Indian Air Force.

For Joining you have to qualify the National Defence Academy Exam.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

N.D.A. Exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice.

Eligibility criteria for N.D.A exam:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 16.5 year and below 19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

National Defence Academy Examination.

This examination is generally conducted twice every year during the months of May and November and the candidates are tested in Mathematics and General Ability tests.

The test on General Ability includes questions on reasoning, intelligence, General Knowledge and English.

All unmarried male candidates with 10+2 pass are eligible for Army, Navy and Airforce, while for the Executive Branch course at Naval Academy, the candidate should be 10+2 examination pass with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

All those who pass the examination are then required to undergo a Services Selection Board (SSB) interview and a detailed medical examination before joining as Cadets at the National Defence Academy (NDA), Kharakvasla (Pune).

After 3 years at NDA and one year in the Military, Naval or Airforce academies, the cadets are commissioned into the services as Second Lieutenant/Acting Sub-Lieutenant/Pilot Officer respectively.

You have completed 12th standard so you are applicable for Indian Air Force .

If you have completed 12th standard from science background then you are applicable for all post conducted by NDA .

The details of NDA exam is given below-


NDA stands for National Defence Academy and this examination is conducted by UPSC Twice in a year for the Recruitment of Army, Naval and Air Force Wings .

The candidate age should between 16.5 years to 19 years.There is no age relaxation for Sc/ST candidate .

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply.

You must have Citizenship of India.

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test. 2) Personal Interview.

The height and weight criteria for Indian Air Force exam through NDA exam is given below-



The eye sight criteria for Indian Air force Exam are -

Minimum Distant vision 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other, correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia. Colour vision CP-1 Hypermetropia: +2.0 D Sph
Manifest Myopia: Nil , Retinoscopic Myopia: -0.5 in any Meridian permitted , Astigmatism: +0.75 D Cyl (within +2.0 D-Max) .

The other Physical criteria are given below-

Running 2-4 Km in 15 minutes.
Skipping
Pushups and sit ups (minimum 20 each)
Chin ups (minimum 08)
Rope climbing 3-4 meters

If you have completed your 12th science with the subjects of Physics,Chemistry and Maths from recognized Board then you are eligible for Indian Air Force exam , final years students also eligible for this exam....

There is no percentage required for this exam

Only Unmarried Male can apply for it girls are not eligible for this exam...

Candidates age should between 16.5 years to 19 years

There is no age relaxation for this exam....

A candidate must have a citizenship of INDIA....
