You need to qualify NDA exam. In order to join Indian Air Force, you must have completed 12th class with science as the main subject. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. Also, your age must be between 16 ½ and 19 years. Detailed information can be collected from UPSC portal.

NDA Stands for National Defence Academy. The Union Public Commission conducts the NDA Exam twice every year in the months of April & August with the names as NDA-I & NDA-II respectively.

If your 12th standard is on science background then you are eligible to attend in Indian Air force exam though NDA Exam.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA : -

Educational Qualification : -

=> You must completed 12th board from recognized board .

Age Limit for NDA Exam: -

=> Your age should be in between 16.5 years to 19 years, no age relaxation for reserved candidate '

Nationality : -

=> You should be a citizen of India

Martial Status : -

=> Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA examination

Selection Procedure : -

• Written Exam
• Physical Test
• Medical Test
• Interview

Requirement for NDA exam:-

1. Running : 2 to 4 Km. in 15 minutes
2. Skipping
3. Pushups : Minimum 20 each Sit-ups
4. Chin ups : Minimum 08
5. Rope Climbing : 3 to 4 meters.

After passing class 12th, to join the INDIAN AIRFORCE , you need to give the National defence Academy (NDA) exams.
This exam is conducted by UPSC.

Eligibilty to apply for the Airforce wing is:
12th Class pass. Physics and Maths should be subjects in your class 12th.

To join Indian Airforce one has to crack the NDA exam .

The NDA exam is conducted by hte UPSC

The eligibility criteria for the NDA exam is as follows :

1] A candidate has to be the citizen of India

2] A candidate should be 16 1/2 to 19 years

3] A candidate should be
12th pass in any discipline for the army wing
and 12 th pass with Maths and Physics for the Air Force and Naval wing

4]There is no condition for the minimum marks scored for the 12th class exam .

5] A candidate should also be Physically and Mantally fit

The NDA Exam is conducted twice every year as NDA-I & NDA-II by the Union Public service Commission.
